About
Liliana Moncada, LCSW
Hello, I'm happy you made it here :)

A little bit about me...
I stumbled into therapy when I was in college. Life was complicated and my grades suffered. During my orientation, I learned about the wellness center where students could talk to someone if they needed support. I decided to give it a try- 8 sessions later my problems didn't disappear but I felt lighter, seen, and something inside me shifted. The seed for healing was planted.
Years later as a new mom, I boomeranged back into therapy, but this time it was different and just as impactful. I did some deeper work, learned more about myself and healthier ways to cope with triggers. My lived experiences and healing journey are why I am passionate about the work that I do today. They have shaped not only who I am but how I show up as a therapist.
I view therapy as a sacred space for growth and transformation. My unwavering belief is that healing is possible at any stage of life. Working alongside clients continually inspires and humbles me. These experiences have and continue to reinforce that inner peace , balance and meaningful connections are achievable, even amidst life's challenges and transitions.

What sessions are like...
My sessions are warm, interactive and authentic. I welcome all the different sides of you and build a trusting connection via empathy, humor, and honesty. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported and seen. I gently challenge and support you to get unstuck by using a variety of modalities. I'm not a "one size fits all" therapist. You are unique! Together we assess your goals and collaboratively work toward integrating what you discover in sessions for holistic and long term wellbeing.
